Dillo Day

Good Morning,

I slept on the couch of three junior girls' apartment at Northwestern University last night; by midnight Judah and I were the only ones up let alone rocking on a Friday night. My understanding of college is that little to nothing should be done on a friday nights besides getting hy-phe, aka shmacked! When you think about it should be more of our obligation to liberate these poor soles concerning themselves with stress-inducing workloads and a loss of truly individualized motivation. The day it becomes widely accepted to not utilize your Friday's for good is the day Rocking out no longer is gettin er done.

Upon waking with crust in my eyes and a moderate hangover I recently decided that the phrase "whatever it takes" has become overused and no longer carries the same weight it used to. From now on we need to become more creative with our words. For instance, say "I'll rock as long as I'm alive", "If you wanna stop this freight train you'd better be prepped for war", or the greatest alternative of all, "If I cannot rock, I cannot live".

Back to the importance of this message, I believe that a day devoted to drinking and listening to decent music wouldn't likely be hosted by the nerdiest Big Ten college around, but I continue to underestimate the lengths at which nerdiness exists. I am looking at a clock reading 11:00 am and I have a Corona in one hand and a fist full of rock in the other, should be a successful right? Judah and I are blaring explicit rap music straight onto the streets of E-town. And that brings me to the final question (even though I'm known for saying "no questions"). Since this is my intro piece I must emphasize the neccessity surrounding rocking and gettin' er done........
